What a great surprise. This little diner was so good. Chicken fried chicken was so good. The Mac and cheese was not real hot but it was still good. Service was really good and the ambiance was casual. Go check it out
My server Becca, was phenomenal. Fries were coated in grease/oil. Not crispy. 5/10. I'll take them home and put them in an air fryer. My sub was homemade bread but equally as greasy. Not toasted. Delicious tho. The classic Burger was good. Not eat til you hate yourself good tho. And by far my favorite, fried green tomatoes. No complaints other than that
Stopped by this cafe for breakfast on Sunday after our first two choices didn't work out. Was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Food was great, service was attentive and prices were reasonable. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast with loaded hash browns which was great. My gf has the club sandwich which I got to try. It was great, I would go back just for that.
I ordered the chicken fried steak with mixed veggies and green beans. Those veggies were delicious and I am not the kind of person who gives a lot of thought to veggies. I think they must have had a lot of butter. They were very tasty. The green beans were a bit soggy, but still tasty with small bits of bacon, but the bacon was soft, so I wasn't crazy about that. The chicken breast came with a cup of gravy on the side. I like it, it was like a bechamel sauce with some pepper and nutmeg flavor to it. Then I ordered a coconut pie that I loved! I will come back for sure. We came on a Saturday for lunch to make time for the next soccer game for my oldest son. The ambiance felt very calm and relaxing, not a cold and modern place. All the people here greeted us with a smile, they were all very friendly and accommodating. I could feel their interest was for us to be comfortable and satisfied.
Good food, fast friendly service. Fried green tomatoes are a hit, CFS good, we will return.
